Has Anyone Had A Bad Experience With A Refurb Iphone?

Getting ready to order 2 refurbished iPhone 3GS phones and I see online that not only are they cheaper than brand new, but ship faster. From a few things I’ve read, refurbished apple products usually perform even better than their new counterparts. Does anyone have personal experience in this?

1) No head unit. I want to connect Iphone directly to the amplifier
My head unit keeps getting stolen. I want to install a amplifier under my seat, bolted to the floor. The only thing feeding my sound for input would be an Iphone / Ipod / mp3 player. What products do you know that could work. How would this effect sound quality VS using a head unit with aux input?

I can’t find any information on the Telstra website about the iphone on the 3G network but it does say that “And like the original iPhone, it combines three products in one-a revolutionary phone, a widescreen iPod, and a breakthrough Internet device with rich HTML email and full web browsing.” Are there any differences?

I know they came out with the iPhone, but I have a 30GB iPod, the newest to come out, and I was going to upgrade to an 80GB but I was going to sit on this one and save my money if anyone knew if they were developing a newer iPod that would have better features. Thanks.
